Terms & Conditions for Galava Gate Self-Catering Cottages We do hope you enjoy your stay in our cottages and keep coming back as others do. Please read the following, if there is something you need to discuss then please get in touch with us, we will do our best to be flexible. The client agrees that:- 1. A non refundable deposit of £150.00 per week becomes payable at time of reservation for the whole period booked, with full payment due Two Month before date of arrival. In the event of a cancellation within two months of arrival, all monies will be forfeit and if over three months 50% of the balance will be due, unless the cottage is relet, in this case an admin fee of £50.00 or 15%, whichever is greater, is kept. Please note we are unable to transfer weeks once a booking has been confirmed 2. Reservations commence 3:00pm on the day of arrival, terminating 10.00am on the final day. There is no admittance to the cottages or grounds between these times unless by arrangement 3. No persons in excess of the number agreed at the time of reservation may occupy the Cottage & only 1 car per cottage . Breach of this rule will terminate the contract without recompense to the client. 4. The cottage must be left in a clean and tidy condition, (as clean as when you arrived) if there are breakages or any damage is caused we must be told and recompense to be made prior to departure. Payment will be taken by cash, Legal action will be taken to recover costs of undeclared damages. 5. We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the comfort of others, without recompense. Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum after 10.00pm. 6. No smoking is allowed in any of the properties. 7. Pets: When permitted , Only One well behaved pet will be allowed in each Cottage, It must not be left unattended, caged / crated or otherwise It must be well behaved and not cause annoyance to residents or neighbours, and any mess cleaned up immediately. It is not allowed on furniture or beds, any aggressive behaviour will result in the instant termination of the booking without recompense to the client. Any damage is fully chargeable to the pet owners with no exceptions, Cost will be for complete replacement, and any losses incured 7a. No other pets are allowed in the property 8. We reserve the right of entry to the properties at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance. 9. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the reservation due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund of monies paid. No further financial claims will be considered. 10. No liability shall be accepted by us for loss, damage or theft of personal belonging to guests, either in the Cottage or Cars, cycles or other vehicles left on the premises, nor shall liability be accepted by us for accident or injury to guests, either within the Cottage or outside. 11. Please do inform us as soon as possible if you have a complaint about your accommodation or if you find that anything is faulty that needs our attention, so that we can assist and repair or make alternative arrangements. Due to the limited period of hire, it may not be possible to repair such items during the period of hire. 12. We do provide free Wi-Fi, however we cannot guarantee a consistent service. Use of our Wi-Fi is by fair usage limits 13. For stays in excess of a week we will provide clean linen and towels. We will agree the timing with you. 14. Electrical items such as chargers, ac adaptors hair curlers / strainers ect should not be left unattended, For safety reasons Electric or Fan heaters must not be used. 15. Please ensure that you have arranged your own travel insurance / Cancellation Insurance, as we do not provide this. 16. A refundable damage / cleaning deposit may be required. This will be stated at the time of booking ,and if so, payment is required upon arrival in cash, at a price of £100 per cottage, Provided that the Cottage and its contents have been left in accordance with our conditions of hire the damage / cleaning deposit will be returned in full as soon as this has been confirmed. The cost of correcting any damage to the Cottage or its contents will be deducted from the damage deposit and the balance if any, will be returned to you. To the extent that the cost of correcting any damage exceeds the amount of the deposit or if no deposit has been taken, the balance will be payable by you
